They said we were crazy….That no one would use it….That it could not be done….But we believed otherwise and New Yorkers agreed! We built an online wine and spirits store, eVintner.com, with a focus on free delivery in Manhattan. The goal from day one has become a reality as we are now proudly offering free 1hr delivery between Battery Park and 125th St ($25.00 minimum order required). Here are some answers to some commonly asked questions:

How can you guys pull this off?

With a dedicated and diligent staff. We have some of the most friendly and efficient deliverers in the city. They deal with the chaos and elements so you can get that extra brief filed or sit back and relax once the daily grind is over. We pay our delivery personel above the industry standard and therefore tips are not required (though our guys appreciate them if offered).

What can I order?

We have a nice selection of wines ranging from your everyday value magnum to the more esoteric Locations by winemaker Dave Phinney or Grignolino by Heitz Cellars. Then there’s the Spirits. We carry your must have vodkas and gins as well as 100% artisan-made products like the Mezcales De Leyenda Mezcal line or Balcones whisky. We are constantly updating our inventory with new products and always love to try and make special requests happen.

What time can I order and still expect my 1hr delivery?

This is very new to us so we have not set permanent deadlines and will try to deliver each order we receive. Due to state regulation orders placed after 10pm Monday thru Saturday and 8pm on Sunday will have to be delivered the next day. We appologize for any inconvenience this may cause you but we believe that our delivery hours will be some of the latest anywhere. Also, we don’t open until 11am so for you 24/7 partiers don’t expect your order before noon.

From Absinthe to Rioja

Hello eVintner enthusiasts, friends, family, or cyber-wanderers,

Here are a couple not so related additions to eVintner’s product list.

New absinthes now in stock. We appologize for not having a quality absinthe available for some time. Although our list is small we feel very confident in our new additions. Starting with the domestic Pacifique Absinthe Verte Supeirierure, an instant classic and throw back to traditional French recipe. We then added a true French masterpiece in Vieux Pontarlier, which won Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2008. Lastly we are proud to include Mansinthe Absinthe. A product made in Switzerland with a helping hand by the actor, singer, and absinthe aficionado Marilyn Manson. We hope that you will enjoy the new absinthes now available on eVintner.com. Now to change gears a little bit, let’s head over to the wonderful DOCa Rioja. We are happy to be able to offer a secial deal on Bodegas Beronia Gran Reserva 2004! Limited quantities available of this perfect representation of Spain’s most popular DOCa. The 2004 vintage for the region was classified as excellent by the Rioja regulatory board. This is a beautiful expression of tempranillo (90%), with a little graciano (4%), and mazuelo (6%) to complete the goal of the winemaker. Bold and beautiful nose with strong spice, plum, and accents of baking spice. Solid structure and lengthy finish. Enjoy it with your favorite meat, venison, or cheese. **Free delivery in Manhattan**
